There should be no journalism without ethics, particularly in a digital world, where there is a constant flow of information, much of which is false. Whether you are starting out on your journalistic career, or you’re an experienced reporter, you will (hopefully) find this course’s examination of ethical journalism useful in improving your skills and career.
With this course, you will learn how there can be no genuine journalism without ethics. You’ll be encouraged to work out your own journalistic philosophy, which you can refer to when difficult issues arise. You’ll see how important it is to treat your sources and your audience, with respect.
“I wanted to know how to handle ethically difficult situations. There’s no way to be perfectly prepared for every possibility – but I think I’m now best prepared as possible.” Anne from Germany.
