In an important update for the community, Best ICT, a flagship digital empowerment hub under Youth Future Lab, has announced the official change of its host church’s name from Kiiriangoro PCEA to ACC&S Mutunguru Church.

The renaming ceremony took place on 5th October 2025 within the church compound and was presided over by Rt. Rev’d Jeremiah Ngumo Kiguru, marking a significant spiritual and historical moment for the congregation and surrounding community.
The event brought together church members, community residents, and development partners, all celebrating a new chapter in the church’s journey. The new name, ACC&S Mutunguru Church, reflects the church’s evolving identity and its deep roots within the Mutunguru community.
Speaking during the event, church leaders highlighted that while the name has changed, the church’s mission and values remain steadfast — to nurture faith, community growth, and social transformation.

Best ICT, which operates within the church premises, continues to serve as a hub where community members, especially the youth, gain access to digital literacy, ICT training, and innovation resources. The center remains committed to bridging the digital divide and empowering the local population with skills for a sustainable future.
Ochieng from Youth Future Lab commended the church for its partnership and vision:
“The collaboration with ACC&S Mutunguru Church has been invaluable in advancing our mission to equip communities with digital skills. This new chapter signifies growth, unity, and renewed purpose — we’re proud to be part of it.”
The renaming of the church not only symbolizes transformation and renewed identity but also strengthens the shared mission between faith institutions and development partners — to empower communities through technology, education, and faith-driven service.

Members of the public and stakeholders are encouraged to note that the ICT hub will now officially be referred to as Best ICT at ACC&S Mutunguru Church.
